BASIC PURPOSE: This paid internship position will support the work of the US Health Program and Abundant Health Initiative in equipping congregations to develop and/or enhance health ministries. S/he will work with the US Health team in the research of health promotion materials for church based health ministries. QUALIFICATIONS: •Actively enrolled in or a recent graduate of a college degree program, preferably in public health, community health or health promotion. •Knowledge of public/community health and interest in nonprofit work and social services. •Solid knowledge of English grammar and punctuation. •Knowledge of or experience in Communication and/or Marketing Strategies will be an asset.
Must authorized to work in the US for the duration of the Internship.
Fall Semester: Start Date - September 5th, 2017; Hours: 16-20 hours/week; Schedule: Flexible Days; 3- 4 hour blocks minimum; Paid: $10 per hour
